About |
About Capital Computing Solutions Capital Computing Soltions operates as a Sole Trader with an ABN. It was first established in Canberra in 1997 and main business revolved around refurbishing ex-government computers for re-sale. In October 1997, I commenced employment at TOWER Software, working in their Engineering Department making TRIM. 2 years later, I was offered the role as the Solutions Architect working with the Sales and Marketing Team. I remained in this role until late 2006, when I moved to Tasmania to service the Tasmanian Customer Base. The Tasmanian Office was closed down in early 2009 by HP who acquired TOWER Software in mid-2008. I have since freelanced within the industry (between permanent contracts) and worked full time as the Records manager / TRIM Administrator for Queanbeyan City Council (QCC), Central Queensland University (CQU), Australian Sports and Anti Doping Authority (ASADA), Department of Human Services (DHS, now Services Australia), Murray Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) and Department of Social Services (DSS). I have regularly worked in Tasmania and the ACT since establishing Capital Computing Solutions in 1997. I am currently based in Tasmania. |
The business objective of the tech giants is for people and organisations to own less and pay more. Then effectively
be at their mercy with constant change. Say no. Leverage your investment in your existing resources.
Object centric technologies are "BLOBS" of permission based entities
that require constant authentication to communicate, and are limited when it comes to managing millions of records. The Permissions
issue is a resource intensive issue to manage. Meta-Data centric technologies, such as Conent Manager, allow you to navigate all
resources and simply delve where required (to actually view a document or email).
